Credit Transfer Evaluation for Students
Students seeking to transfer credits must provide official transcripts from provincially recognized high schools or postsecondary institutions for evaluation. Transfer credits will only be granted for comparable subjects with full credit. Since program requirements vary, only evaluations conducted by SOUTH RIDGE HIGH SCHOOL will determine the final transfer credits.
For Out-of-Province and International Students
Students transferring from outside Ontario or Canada require a secondary school credit equivalency evaluation. The principal of SOUTH RIDGE HIGH SCHOOL will assess the total credit equivalency based on the student's prior learning and determine the remaining compulsory and optional credits needed for the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD).
Students must also:
● Successfully complete the provincial secondary school literacy test.
● Fulfill the required hours of community involvement as determined by the principal.
The principal's assessment and decisions will be documented in the student’s Ontario Student Record (OSR).
